The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada has an activity book that can be used by elementary school students to reinforce energy conservation topics. It teaches kids how electricity is made and kid-friendly ways to conserve it (turn the lights off, unplug video games when not in use, etc.).

Clark County Wetlands Park
Virtual Field Trips are free of charge for CCSD or fee-based ($25) for private or home schools. Virtual Field Trips will be scheduled on Tuesdays, October through May. The virtual field trip experience is 30-45 minutes and includes pre-recorded content and live discussion that will take place in Google Classroom. Content was developed for grades 3-5, but all grades may participate. You may also use this form to request a link to a 15-minute video for your independent use (no fee).
